Environmental (Mining) License

Depending on what activities are being carried out specific EML's apply. These EML's replace their respective MMP's

Water Extraction License

This is required when the mine goes back into production. We will win water by "Surface Harvest" from increasing the height of the existing dam wall by 1.8m.

This is for a "Controlled Action" (Mining) close to  the Gouldian Finch population in the Yinberrie Hills, as related to the re-opening, operation and closure of the Mt Todd Gold Mine, approved under the Commonwealth’s Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (reference number 2011/5967)

Permit to Interfere With A Waterway

These are required anytime there is a proposed change to the natural waterways. The Mt Todd project has two permits, one for two dams and the pother for water diversion channels required to protect protect assets

This Referral of Significant Variation was prepared to assess the potential impacts of the changes to the Proposed Project on the environment and meet the requirements of the Call-in Notice issued by the NT EPA in November 2022
